Transport: DFDS Seaways Floating signs
Dover to Dunkirk. Newcastle to Amsterdam. Harwich to Esbjerg. Norfolkline is one of the busiest holiday and commercial ferry lines – so the branding has to be just right.
This project took us to South Korea and to one of the largest shipyards in the world to finalise the signage specification for three vessels. We manufactured the signs while they sailed back to the UK, and installed them within one week of their arrival.
Then, when Norfolkline was bought by DFDS Seaways, one of the world’s biggest ferry companies, they asked us to rebrand four of their ports and three vessels in just three months. They needed to help passengers get around easily and find their way quickly in an unfamiliar environment – as well as making the most of their marketing opportunity. Working to a very tight timescale, we’ve upgraded all their shop, restaurant and directional signage including marketing light boxes in all vessels.
